Line6 + Support = Zero...Help?

I'm really thinking about switching to Eleven if I had the $...but here's my issue (I wanted to post my question where smart and helpful people are found who have helped me so much & are able to help...which is why I keep posting here...you guys SO rule ;)!!!) I love POD Farm. I really do love the tone. I can dial up a preset and it sounds great... ...until I add my own edits. Any time I add a "pedal" or adjust a "high gain" parameter...I get this milisecond (actually a slapback) delay on my signal. I have checked the playback engine for buffer size, samples, etc. Still the same after every change possible. I don't think it's latency involved since it happens after each note but I could be wrong? But I've recorded the signal and still get it on the playback track. Line 6 support is really not as helpful for me (BUT in their defense I may be looking at the wrong place). Any thoughts?

You sure you didn't accidentally apply a Gate to your presets or anything? That might have cause it.

Thanks guys! When I applied it to a track I didn't have any other plugins running so (I'm not sure) but I don't think it's an issue...but thanks for mentioning the gate, because I do have the noise gate (the POD Farm noise gate) on most presets as I'm using high gain. I adjusted the parameters on the gate (just threshold and release) and the afterecho was still there. I thought it might be because when you alter a preset the little "*" appears by it's name until saved...which I did save but got the same result. I've noticed that sometimes it acts a bit "weird" from time to time until I close either the plugin and reopen or if I just shut down PT altogether and is fine upon restart...will try that tonight and see if it works...

I too like the Pod farm plug-in but have not noticed a latency issue with it at all.

Thanks for the help you guys. I actually figured it out so for anyone else having this problem: I was running through the POD XT THEN through the MBox. I was using it because my version of POD Farm doesn't have a tuner... so I can use a "tube preamp" on the XT and it's tuner with a dry signal. While my XT signal was completely dry I was still getting that delay even after closing and reopening the plugin. I found on the Line 6 forum after searching for some time that the same prob happened to someone else using the XT the same way I was. For some reason the plugin hates the XT! My solution? Plug my guitar directly into the MBox. I know it sounds stupid...but before I did this but I didn't like the "feel" I got from playing through the plugin. Didn't seem "natural" to me... but I set my buffer size to absolute minimum and sample rate second to lowest and... satisfactory results! (for now..... muahhhahha!:p)

The XT has some awareness of what's on your DAW inserts? Through the USB? How does it see into PT? Odd. Why not use the free and excellent TL InTune?
