are you sure that you have the light switch turned to the right setting,not the off position,its hard to tell with the drl`s coming on anyway.remember the fog lights wont work unless the main light switch is turned on sometimes turning the light switch blows the fuses also if i was you ,assuming you want a quick fix for the mot,is to run a piece of wire from the live battery terminal,put a 10 amp red fuse onto the wire (you can get these from halfords),then attach a switch to it somewhere ,run the wire through to the fog light(which will already go to earth)should take about an hour maybe and 5 pounds(?).i accept that this is a temporarary fix but will get you the mot
